Ok. You can hate or love it. But one thing is clear, the new Gucci influence has been amazing in many low-cost shops around the world.
I have to say that Alessando Michelle debut scared me at first. Well, I always have a very clear concept of what Gucci is: refined, elegant and very italian. These ideas were transfered by Frida Giannini so well, but personally this bored me a little, so repetitive. Always the same, no surprises at all.
In this case, was an awesome revival. The new Gucci is not the Gucci we all used to know. I something similar to Paul & Joe or Miu Miu. More young, fresh, preppy, more cool. The model casting was also very different to the previous shows.

Puedes adorarlo u odiarlo. Pero si hay algo claro, es que la influencia del nuevo Gucci ha sido increíble esta temporada en muchas tiendas low cost.
He de decir, que el tal Alessandro Michele me daba un poco de miedo en su debut. Y es que el estilo Gucci siempre lo he tenido muy definido como refinado, elegante, muy italiano. Unos conceptos que siempre ha trasladado muy bien Frida Giannini, pero que a mi personalmente me aburría por repetitivo. Un poco siempre lo mismo, sin sorpresas.
Esta ha sido una muy grata. El nuevo Gucci ya no me dice Gucci. Ha roto todo los esquemas y quizás se acerca más a Paul &Joe o Miu Miu. Es más joven, más preppy, más guay. El casting de modelos ha sido también opuesto al que nos tenía habituados la firma.
Yo si le doy el aprobado. ¿Y vosotros?
